KyivPride is a Ukrainian non-governmental organization that aims at contributing to full respect for human rights for LGBT+ in Ukraine, at encouraging an appreciation for these rights by raising LGBT+ visibility and their participation in social processes.
Since their beginning in 2014, they have helped to plant 15 million trees! The main benefits of reforestation are to limit harmful pollutants, as trees release clean oxygen for us. This helps regulate our climate. Trees prevent floods and filter water, as well as providing habitats for animals, flora, fauna and fungi. Not only are there ecological benefits to trees, but they also have a positive impact socially and for our health. Planting trees provides jobs and food, and trees also aid with overall wellness.
The Hunger Project are dedicating to ending hunger and poverty by centering women on their journey to reach that goal. Their mission is to give women and girls the tools to overcome systemic challenges and educating them to become self-reliant. By doing so, it is ensuring that their communities can benefit from the project long-term. Studies have shown that when women are supported and empowered, society benefits and become more resilient. Money donated to The Hunger Project will go towards training men and women with skills to bring them better livelihoods
