Not too hot, not too cold, just right.
Give the candle a little time to heat-up and melt so that there is enough to pour over. It can get a little runny, so have a towel down so as to avoid ruining your sheets/blankets with oil that will not wash out (learned from firsthand experience). The oil soaks into the skin nicely and is great to rub around on your partner, or self, if you're into that sort-of thing... Helped remove some kinks and knots, for sure.
