I have 43 inch hips and bought these in a size US 12. I found they fit well for me in this size without digging in or feeling too constricting. The waist hit me at the right spot on my torso and is flattering for my shape. The thong itself isn't rough, which is perfect.
The fabrics are soft and have some stretch, enough to be form fitting. I wouldn't say that the mesh was tight enough to be compressing, but it can lightly smooth your shape. The color is the real star here in that both colors are impressively bright and complex in their own ways. The purple is close to that of the Eddie set in Purple, and the Neon Pink is almost tinged with some neon orange to truly make a unique color. It is a sight to behold.
