Eddie Petrol Highwaist Brief

I have 43 inch hips and bought these in a size US 12. I found they fit well for me in this size (although I may have been able to size down since the mesh has quite a bit of stretch) without digging in or feeling too constricting. The waist hit me at the right spot on my torso and is flattering for my shape. I love the wrap around strap detail and find this adds a darker sexy edge to such a feminine look.

The fabrics are soft, but have structure and feel substantial; enough to be form fitting and keep up the silhouette. The fishnet plays well with the mesh and when you adjust the strap how you like, the fishnets lie perfectly over the mesh with no extra fiddling needed. The strap itself is comfortable, although I think I would have liked a slightly thicker one as the sizes increased, but I'm not too pressed on this. The adjustability is great and that is already more than I could have asked for with a brief.

I wouldn't say that the mesh was tight enough to be compressing, but it can lightly smooth your shape if you purchase the right size. I did find the color in person to be slightly duller than what online photos presented; the color is very close to what I saw, but seems a bit ashen in person.

These work well under most clothing I wear without adding many lumps and bumps, and remain comfortable all day. As expected, they are quite breathable for the material.

All in all, I love this silhouette and look forward to purchasing more of them!
