Despite dressing in vintage 50's retro out-of-the-bedroom regular clothing, I had never actually bought or worn a girdle. In fact this was my first introduction to retro underwear. I love the quirkiness of the cosmic print, paired with the time old classic design and cut; the end result is a classy and soft feminine look - with a hint of rebel!
Being a plus size hourglass with an apple belly I often struggle to find sexy underwear that doesn't make me feel self conscious of my shape. This, paired with the bullet bra is such a gorgeous combination. It made me feel more confident, and got the seal of approval from my partner.
The mesh is soft, stretchy, and forgiving. You can tell it is well made, and the fabric doesn't feel cheap.
I bought this at the sale price, so had to chance 2 sizes bigger than I would normally go for, but because of my belly/wider hips than waist it still seems to fit. I haven't tested wearing it out the house yet (it hasn't left the bedroom...), so can't comment on the all day longevity of a size bigger or two without falling down!
But seriously, if it's in your size, buy the whole outfit!
