Solar Black and Gold Cosmic Print Girdle

I have worn girdles before and found this one lovely; it fit true to the size I am and had chosen from the chart (US 12 purchased, I have a 37 inch waist, 43 inch hips, with a bit of a lower belly and a flatter bottom). The mesh has a forgiving enough stretch that helps smooth my shape into curves I love to see more pronounced.

The materials used are nice on the skin and feel durable. I initially felt like the mesh was going to be quite rough on my skin, but since the netting is very tight, I don't feel much while wearing this. The garter straps don't slide around when adjusted and none of the findings dig in or scratch me. The clips are sturdy and don't slip off stockings, and because the girdle fits me a little snugly (how it should though!), the girdle doesn't sag down while holding up stockings. The print on the mesh is bright, clear, and crisp, and applied with care upon the fabric, so there are no noticeable misalignments or voids.

I would certainly recommend this piece in addition to the matching bra!

Despite dressing in vintage 50's retro out-of-the-bedroom regular clothing, I had never actually bought or worn a girdle. In fact this was my first introduction to retro underwear. I love the quirkiness of the cosmic print, paired with the time old classic design and cut; the end result is a classy and soft feminine look - with a hint of rebel!

Being a plus size hourglass with an apple belly I often struggle to find sexy underwear that doesn't make me feel self conscious of my shape. This, paired with the bullet bra is such a gorgeous combination. It made me feel more confident, and got the seal of approval from my partner.

The mesh is soft, stretchy, and forgiving. You can tell it is well made, and the fabric doesn't feel cheap.

I bought this at the sale price, so had to chance 2 sizes bigger than I would normally go for, but because of my belly/wider hips than waist it still seems to fit. I haven't tested wearing it out the house yet (it hasn't left the bedroom...), so can't comment on the all day longevity of a size bigger or two without falling down!

But seriously, if it's in your size, buy the whole outfit!
