I’m a 28” waist, 39” hips and originally ordered this in size 6. It was very tight, like a girdle fit. It’s so cute though. The black panel is a suede like fabric. The mesh is really taught. I returned it but only because at the time i originally ordered, the cape wasn’t available. I would definitely size up on this piece specifically
